Budweiser builds a smart low-carbon brewery to help China pursue a brighter future

AB Inbev has transformed the largest brewing facility in Asia into a cutting-edge green brewery by making significant investments in the use of clean energy, heat recovery and water conservation at the site.

The renewable energy project at the Putain brewery in China includes 150,000-square-meters of photovoltaic panels (the same as 21 football pitches) and is the largest photovoltaic power station in the beer industry.

The project represents Budweiser’s commitment to co-build a beautiful Putian, and aid the city’s development into a demonstration zone for the Beautiful China initiative.
